Sea Synergy is an award-winning marine awareness & activity centre with something to suit all ages! Come discover what lies beneath the Wild Atlantic Way!
The interactive sea life exhibition introduces you to Ireland’s amazing sea life big and small: meet Paddy the Prawn, Larry the baby Lobster, enjoy interacting with rockpool creatures in our touch pool. Hold real whale and dolphin bones, measure up to models of swordfish, bluefin tuna and even a real leatherback turtle shell all of which are from local Irish waters! Tours of the exhibition centre are guided by marine biologists and ecologists to answer questions and help you understand more about the biofacts and animals you will see in our unique exhibition.
Activities for families, couples, teens and kids are all available and include guided Seashore Safaris, Snorkelling, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP), marine biology shows, boat tours and Mindfulness in Nature where our guides help you enjoy Wild Atlantic Waterville and all the Skellig Coast has to offer!

Kids and Teens Summer Sea Camps happen in July and August. Allow your children to be immersed in nature and learn all about the sea: ocean health, animals, activities and possibilities all associated with the sea through active learning and fun interactive days - outdoors by the seaside or lakeside. Fully Supervised. Check the website to see the schedule and book your place as group sizes are limited.

Sea Synergy is also well known for its work in marine education, conservation and sustainability working with business, schools and groups to implement systemic change for a more sustainable and healthier planet. School tours welcome! We were awarded a Responsible Tourism Award in 2016 and an Ocean Hero business award, in 2017 we won The National Irish Marine Tourism Award. We are also a member of Leave No Trace and apply these principles and outdoor ethics. The local Sea Synergy marine biologists have hosted HRH Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla on a visit to the region and have been featured in the media for their work in marine awareness and conservation.

The show also presents some of the seafood providers of the restaurants on the Skellig Coast and her brother Henry in their family run business The Smugglers Inn.
