Skelligs Trips

An early start is necessary to take a trip to the famous Skellig islands - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  The Skelligs are located 12 kms off the coast of County Kerry, Ireland, and only accessible via a licensed boat.  A trip toKerry  is not complete without a visit to the special islands. Make your way up the great Skellig Michael, where the monastic settlement is located. The small Skellig is easily viewed from here with all its puffins, razorbills among others for bird watchers, it is renowned as an important breeding site for many threatened species of sea birds, while botanists can marvel at the abundant local flora, much of which is to be found nowhere else in Ireland.
